This fee will be collected from the student or parent and deducted from the first month’s piano tuition fee. Therefore, only 50% of the tuition fee will be due from the student or parent at the end of the first month. Teachers with first-lesson fee collection policy may do so after first month.
6. Trial Lesson & Payment
If the student requests for a trial lesson, it is up to the teacher to accept or reject trial lesson. Teachers who accepted the trial lesson will be paid pro-rated according to the 4 lessons per month rate. While we work to make the best possible connection, the teacher and student should approach the trial lesson with the right mindset. To promote the right attitude, we will charge the teacher 50% of the trial lesson fee.
The trial lesson fee will be waived if the student agrees to continue with the teacher.
Eg. If the monthly piano lesson fee for 4 lessons is $160, the trial lesson works out to $40 per lesson, which is payable by the student.
Commission fee of 50% of trial lesson fee is still payable to SingaporePianoLessons.net by the teacher. In this example, 50% of $40 works out to be $20.
